    Yup, that's why next year will be telling for him if he's promoted to Dunedin at some point. He just hit a line drive double to RF in his last AB (3-4 2BB).

    Cal Stevenson is an on base machine.. 2-3 with two walks and four stolen bases (20, 1cs) tonight. OPS in Bluefield is a bit over 1.000 50BB 20K 28RBI, 60R , 66H in 51 games out of the lead off spot. RBI's circumstantial obviously, but still impressive. What's impressive is that he's not just slap hitting his way on base with a SLG% over .500 He turns 22 next month. Next year in Lansing/Dunedin is going to be a big year for him.

    It appears as if Shapiro is going to give him every opportunity to impress and possibly give him the starting LF job. Leaving him in vs the LHR is a good indication.
