  1. Sanchez back out at 87 pitches? Hmmmm..
  2. For sure, just needs to work on filling the zone a bit more and keep his pitch count down.
  3. Urena fought and played hard the last few years not to be a forgotten case. Happy for the guy.
  4. Sanchez probably done for the day.
  5. If Buck even had 1/10th of Bowen's play by play skills, we'd be ok.
  6. Yep, Pillar looks done offensively.
  7. I wonder what the Jays' record is when Shulman is in the booth. I know it's really bad unfortunately.
  8. This thread would have been crickets if there was no money involved. Poor Tercet.
  9. I think we're going to rock Boyd bad.
  10. Now here's a better GDT, some life to it. Let's take the next three games boys.
  11. Yeah, I'll tell you why. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Furthermore, this isn't like a sac bunt which is more difficult given that you have to deaden the ball and get it on the ground immediately. Just push the ball towards third, whether it's hit hard or not, in the air or not, just keep it fair. If it were a one run game with Smoak leading off the inning, different story. Whether Smoak led off the inning with a HR or a bunt base hit, they both carry the same value. I would say the odds are better getting on base by trying to push a ball down third against the shift than swinging away.
  12. Yeah, Giles especially.
  13. This is true, but Hudson didn't make it to the bigs because of his off speed arsenal. Stick to your strengths for the most part and execute, locate. In Hudson's case, it's with his heater.
  14. King brings it on, you know that. With a man on second and no out and an 0-2 count, you should stay hard up and away generally, especially when you throw in the upper 90's You want to try and prevent the LHH from pulling the ball and advancing the runner if you can. Executing is a given obviously. By staying hard up and on the outer half, you open up many more favourable outcomes where the runner does not advance on an out, opposed to something soft.
  15. Man you're f***ing dumb
  16. WTF are you talking about? Is there something wrong with elevating a 97 MPH fastball 0-2 with a man on first?
  17. It's not dumb with the third baseman playing short. C'mon man seriously, push one down third and get the tying run to the plate. McKinney comes in to pinch run and play first base if we tie the game. You're going to see much more of this from teams this year.
  18. Smoak leading off down by two with the shift on. f*** off and push one down third and get the tying run to the plate with no out.
  19. f***ing selfish losers
  20. Lay one down Smoak
  21. You throw 97-98 and you dick around with an 0-2 slider? GTFO
  22. f***, Jansen has to know better than that pitch selection also.
  23. What kind of a 0-2 pitch was that when you throw 97?
