    Going back a lot further, I see Jim Clancy. That would also be fantastic.

    T.J Zeuch 6 IP 4 H 0 ER 0 BB 5 K 7GO/1FO ERA down to 3.12 / 3.56 FIP 3:1 SO/BB ratio. Groundball machine with great downward plain, using his 6'7'' 225 lb frame in getting it done. Just turned 23 in AA which boasts a boatload of the best positional prospects in the game. T.J Zeuch will be a solid #3/4 for years to come.

    All the more reason he should be working on locating his fastball and that was the perfect scenario to do so. So should he throw sliders everytime since the league only has a 57 wRC+ against it?

    Where the f*** did i say he should throw a fastball everytime? Up by four runs with two out in the ninth with a 3-2 count, Giles throws a breaking ball that's been inconsistent to say the least since coming here. Giles should be working on locating his upper 90's fastball, which is the best pitch in baseball and always will be. That Betts AB was the perfect time to do that. I don't exactly know wtf you're talking about.

    The fact that most hitters would have been keyholing a fastball on a 2-0 count would have taken that breaking ball on the outer half and moved on. Vladdy just isn't human. I have to keep reminding myself that he just turned 19 this year.

    My point was that you could give the umps the benefit of the doubt on the Segui play where the ball wasn't visible and no instant replay yet. The foul tip that bounced six inches in front of home plate is inexcusable. Still no comment on the confrontational aspect that's ruining the game?

    I've been watching baseball on a daily basis for over 35 f***ing years slant fin. Go find me the data that proves foul tips in the dirt were missed at the same rate they are today. Secondly, do you have nothing to say regarding the second part of the post regarding umps being confrontational? Am I new? Lol, go f*** yourself s*** stain.

    I disagree. The foul tip that clearly bounced in the Teo AB would rarely be missed. The aspect that is abundantly clear is the way umps today look for confrontation instead of walking away during the player's venting period. Let the game be dictated by the players like it once was and should be. It's all about me nowadays.
