    It's obvious to me that Grichuk batting fourth or fifth consistently is the influence of Ross Atkins, can't have his extension boy in the lower levels of the order. From what we've seen from Montoya so far, there is no way he would have Grichuk batting fourth or fifth. Atkins is a little f***ing snake they has no issues throwing Montoya under the bus. I strongly believe that's why he hired him opposed to a stronger willed type manager. Atkins is so transparent its actually hilarious.

    Montoya getting smart and moved Biggio up to the fifth spot. Grichuk has no business hitting clean up though, Smoak will walk three times today. I'd rather have Biggio or Galvis hitting fourth and stick Grichuk in the six spot where he belongs, actually seventh when Rowdy is healthy.

    You can still be a smart aggressive hitter while using the whole field. The game has become this now and it's time to be pushing this at a younger age. Hitters have no choice but to adjust to the defenses that are now being thrown out there. It's difficult to get established hitters like Smoak to all of a sudden make the change, but younger hitters need to learn to be aggressive to all fields. Look at the Red Sox and the Astros.

    Drury was originally penciled in CF, I'm just hoping Davis had the shits earlier or something. Drury in CF would have been something to see.

    I definitely agree on trading Giles and Stroman for elite bats and addressing the pitching by signing /trading for proven durable arms. f*** pitching prospects.
