  1. What are your thoughts kid?
  2. Grichuk is a 3-4 times a week/platoon type who plays a passable RF and should be hitting anywhere from 6-8 in the line up, 6 when he's hot, that's about it. You can find that type of value he brings for $3-5 million, not the little over $11M he averages over the five year commitment.
  3. It's not a crippling contract and it'll have a small impact on the roster in the next few years. Nonetheless, it was a boneheaded move by Atkins. Horrible awareness and judgement on his part.
  4. I don't hate the guy on a personal level, he seems like a nice guy. I just hate his make up as a player.
  5. Grichuk had THREE extremely hittable fastballs in that AB. -.03 WAR , .700 OPS fence type, but let's hand him a 5/57 because reasons beyond our comprehension.
  6. If there's anybody you want up with the bases juiced it's Randal Grichuk
  7. Not really, he just got lucky af.
  8. Don't worry, Ross won't let us down.
  9. Lol Grichuk.. You can't make this s*** up.
  10. Not only do we not have much talent on the roster, the players that we do have can't even execute basic fundamentals of the game. Coaching staff and management could be at an all time franchise worst.
  11. He was actually 4-5, for what it's worth.
  12. Good thing Mancini didn't run into Davis, he would have been flattened.
  13. You guys are just trolling, right? Nobody actually thinks that he's an ex professional ball player, i hope.
  14. Dunedin promotion coming soon..
  15. He's going to have to be looking over his shoulder no matter where he lives now, unless he disappears somewhere way under the radar.
  16. Shapiro controls the draft, along with the scouting department of course. There are certain provisions Shapiro implemented to the acting GM, and one is that he gets final say regarding the draft as one of them. Atkins was given the reigns regarding the 25 man construction, that's pretty much it. Why do you think AA left?
  17. I'm nowhere near ready to write off Shapiro, he drafts well and is respected around the league. Atkins on the other hand..
  18. The Donaldson trade, the 100% dumping of the Vernon Wells contract and the IFA signing of Vladdy Jr alone will conquer anything that Atkins will ever do in his lifetime.
  19. "Both are experienced arms who know how to navigate their way through a MLB line up. We also see tremendous upside in both arms if they're given a long enough leash. Their added experience in the clubhouse is something you can't put a price tag on." -Ross Atkins
  20. Richard has that same passive deer in the headlights daze on his face like Drury has. What an absolute disaster of a 25 man assembly, can't wait for Atkins to f*** off.
  21. Also throw in the fact that we're facing a LH starter makes the decision to start Sogard at the DH spot over Vladdy more mind boggling.
  22. Good thing Ross spent that DSJ $1M IFA money in a good place. What in God's name..
