It's unreal but Shatkins seems determined to stretch out him and Hatch. With our starters showing more consistency, there should be flexibility with getting Pearson right. I would say Hatch would be the man up if a starter goes down, but what they stay healthy for the most part? Hatch and Pearson can help the team (Hatch for now) in the pen. How about a six man rotation with Hatch, and the bottom two performers battle over the fifth starting spot / swing man role? It would create a highly competitive atmosphere that's for sure.
