  1. Easily my favorite Colabello moment http://m.mlb.com/cutfour/2015/10/21/155191030/chris-colabello-homers-off-edinson-volquez-dances Sorry for the mobile link
  2. People still think Maddon is a smart manager after his managing of the World Series last year? He almost single-handedly lost his team game 7 by over managing.
  3. Boxcar on thin ice
  4. You were lying?
  5. Wat. Lets not pretend that money wasn't the #1 deciding factor.
  6. I'm glad I was wrong. Hate to see the stupidity of drunk driving take more lives.
  7. Haha that was great. A+ troll
  8. Calhoun would be an excellent pickup.
  9. I agree for the most part, except for 2 things: 1. Revere has a noodle arm 2. Revere should not be leading off, and a .330 OBP is not good enough for the leadoff spot. I'm totally on board with signing Revere as a 4th OF with some upside. Revere/Upton could be a decent platoon and they can both cover CF if Pillar gets hurt. I'd want a good bat for RF though, someone like Granderson/Moss/Bautista
  10. So it looks like the Cards didn't overpay too much, depending on what the final contract actually looks like. 5/85 is a fair deal for him
  11. 1. Bautista won't sign for that little 2. Edwin won't sign for that much 3. We would have no money for a backup Catcher 4. We would have no money for the bullpen 5. We would have no money for depth
  12. Ditto but i'd rather trade for Granderson
  13. Yeah if its more than 4/70, I can totally understand Shatkins passing on Fowler. Also if he gets 5 years, it's understandable. Although I REALLY wanted Fowler
  14. Only problem is that steamer projects him for 2.4 WAR next year... I'm not sure if he'll come close to his 2016 numbers again. But his asking price isn't outrageous, and we'll have Martin off the books for the last couple years of Fowler's contract so it could easily work.
  15. Fowler wants 5/80, I think i'd be comfortable with that. He'll be 35 by the end of the deal... He's always been a great OBP guy and its not like he'll forget how to take a walk. Defense won't be any worse than Bautista's by the end of the contract. He's a perfect fit for this team right now, and we'll need a guy with his skillset if we want to seriously compete against Boston/New York
  16. Saunders had his removed
  17. Blair literally knows nothing about baseball. It's laughable that Rogers paid to fly him out tomthe winter meetings. The dude knows less than my sister does about baseball.
  18. I'm definitely joking haha
  19. Hmm? they're both black and fast. Same kind of hitter
  20. That would be my final offer to Fowler. 4/70 is already high, we shouldn't go higher than that IMO.
  21. Kinda dumb that the Whitesox demanded Turner from Washington and not one of Bradley/Benintendi from Boston. Oh well
  22. Gotta say, I'm surprised. I thought it would take at least 2 of Boston's top guys to land Sale. Thought it would be something like Bradley + Moncada +, or at least Benintendi + Moncada. Great trade for the Sox. (Redsox)
