  1. If he stayed still (or in his regular stance) the pitch wouldn't have come near him
  2. - Thaw the beef for a few hours first - put it in a pot or pan with the lid on, cook on low for around 10 minutes until the the red color is all gone - take the lid off, turn heat up, and start breaking it apart with a spoon/spatula (middle parts will still be red, make sure you keep stirring and breaking apart until everything is brown) - drain the fat (optional)

  4. Yet there are so many people that suck him off because he's "funny" on Twitter. No he's not, he's just an asshat like Trump is on Twitter.
  5. Are we at all surprised that Bauer is a Trump supporter?
  6. I feel like anyone who leans into a pitch is a huge douche. Brandon Guyer for example is insufferable.
  7. Isn't this guy the douchenozzle that ruined Scherzer's perfect game?
  8. Not nearly enough to draw new interest IMO. I really don't know what the solution is to make Baseball more popular, but it's definitely not going to be solved by shortening games by 5-10 minutes here and there. I'll stand by my opinion that baseball is never going to be as popular as football because there are just too many games to follow for the casual fan.
  9. Not even close. If Manfred wants to sell MLB to a new generation, he's gonna have to make the season 100 games MAX. Obviously that won't happen (and i'm glad because I love my baseball) People are going to have to accept baseball for what it is: an intense 6-month grind.
  10. Yeah i'll agree with you and say I don't hate this idea, but I do hate some of the other ideas Manfred has expressed (like auto-walks and reliever limits)
  11. I want to believe, but I'm quite skeptical. Why didn't Selig ever talk about stuff like this? And anyways, in this case I would say a more "palatable product" would center around decreasing the number of games which in turn would make every game significantly more important. It's quite obvious that the number of games is the issue here. Football games are just as "slow" as baseball games, and they get pretty brutal when there is like 3 minutes remaining in a close game, which ends up being extended to 30 minutes because of all the timeouts. The average length of an NFL game is actually longer than the average length of an MLB game.
  12. Oh dude, I agree. I love that fact that baseball is on EVERY day, and its one of the main reasons I fell in love with the sport. I definitely don't want the season to be shortened. Just sayin, the sport will never be as popular as the others because of the daily time commitment. Manfred should understand this. Shortening/quickening games will do nothing to attract new fans.
  13. The only way to increase Baseball's popularity is to dramatically decrease the number of games each season. We're talking like 100 games a season MAX. 162 games is just too much of an investment for some people, and its the reason Football will always be #1 in America. Its a sport you only need to commit 1 day each week to support your team.
  14. Probably less.
  15. Next they'll eliminate the need to round the bases after hitting a homerun.
  16. Must be nice to have players take a paycut to sign with your team.
  17. I seriously hope this doesn't become a trend. The owners should never be meddling with front office affairs and player signings/trades.
  18. Never forget the walk-off walk against the Giants last year.
  19. June 1st - Yankees

    June 28 - Orioles

    July 6 - Astros

    August 13 - Pirates

    August 30 - Redsox

    Sept. 13 - Orioles

    Sept. 24 - Yankees

Are you selling tickets for any of these games?

  20. Really hoping we can nab Pagan
  21. It automatically selects "best available" for the section, you don't have the choice. I feel like they are holding back some good seats for the single-game sales though, so i'm not gonna bother with these "flex" packs.
