  1. Ohtani vs Soto round 1 may very well be the most exciting matchup.
  2. Probably better to hang on to both of them and go with a qualifying offer
  3. Biggio plus Gurriel plus a mid-level prospect maybe gets it done? Although Gurriel has tanked his value quite a bit this year... I think they’d value Gurriel higher than Teo due to the cheap control.
  4. I think he was going home and then stopped when he realized they called it a catch
  5. Also Dickerson makes Tellez redundant and a waste of a roster spot
  6. Not even Ohtani can stop the Redsox
  7. Wow that's a bit insulting. He's at least worth Brantley money. Probably will take closer to Ozuna's contract. 15 mil over 4-5 years
  8. Pretty sure we all assumed that's how Donaldson is
  9. I was mainly thinking about the fact he got suspended for an entire year because of the steroid thing which was completely unprecedented. Also Yankees tried to get into a legal dispute over injury/doctor ******** with Elsbury, which is the same thing they did with Arod after his steroid suspension.
  10. Lol I never heard about this
  11. Arod and Elsbury
  12. Im of the opinion Oak Col. gets too much flak. Yes the view sucks since they put the new seats in but the stadium itself isn't much different from Rogers Centre or Dodger Stadium (yeah Dodger Stadium is just as much of a concrete jungle as the other 2)
  13. I didn’t say it, I typed it
  14. Since when does a positive PED test void an entire contract? Never, so I don’t see why it would be any different with pitching. Yankees better eat that entire contract
  15. Yup im 100% expecting it. They did it with the Arod contract and with Elsbury. Definitely gonna be some fishy s*** with Cole if he remains bad.
  16. I can agree with you on McGuire, but I definitely disagree with you on your other points.
  17. Yeah feels like there’s an extreme disconnect between the front office and the coaching staff right now. - Springer injury situation - Trading Panik just so Charlie will stop using him - Atkins’ insistence on keeping Chatwood and Dolis on the roster even though they seem to be big victims of the sticky crackdown (this should have been conveyed to the FO by the coaching staff if true) - Releasing McGuire only for Charlie to start using him over Jansen - The entire Giles situation (Charlie using him 3 days in a row and getting injured just before the trade deadline. FO should have told him they were planning a trade so don’t f***ing injure him) I’m sure im missing a bunch of other things too
  18. Lol damn
  19. I guess Charlie doesn’t understand the volatility of relievers season to season? Doesn’t surprise me.
  20. In all likelihood even if the score was 2-1 in the 9th, we would have lost. Not really upset about bullpen usage today. The bad defense lost it for us today. Lots of bad plays
  21. Kudos to Charlie for letting Ray go 7. He was looking shaky in the 6th and I probably would have went to the pen
