I don’t think he implied that at all, he’s saying Cole is being overdramatic. Im sure he can pitch just fine with rosin. He might lose that extra 200rpm spin but he never should have had that in the first place, because he was cheating.

Yeah sucks to see. He had sustained his “good approach” for like 6 or so weeks, longest stretch he’s looked solid at the plate. Every time he looks to have “found it”, he falls right back into one of his cold freezes. He’ll still get enough playtime rotating him through RF and the occasional CF start to give Springer a break. But i’d like to see Tellez get more chances if possible. Which is worse, having Gurriel in the field or Grichuk in the lineup? Probably better to let Grich play RF Idk

How can Grichuk look so locked in for a month and then look like he’s never swung a bat the next month. Seriously his plate discipline just goes out the window for weeks on end

I would guess their walk rate since May is probably bottom 3 worst in the league. Hard to do anything when you just keep walking guys. At least if you’re putting the ball in play some will turn into outs and you’ll find some luck. That’s literally impossible when Chatwood comes in and walks 4 straight.

Do you watch the games? At the beginning of the season, the bullpen was excellent. Until all the injuries piled up... since then they’re been extremely bad. One of the worst. The K rate is still middle of the pack though, which makes me believe the bloated ERA is mainly due to walks and errors. That makes sense given what we’re witnessing every night.
