  1. Way too many people here giving up on Biggio. Probably people that didn’t watch many games in 2019/2020. Biggio is having a rough year, but he’s played out of position and battled through injury. Lets see what he can do next year before writing him off. And I don’t think he’d be considered a worthless trade piece at all
  2. Also no Ks the last 4 games and a bunch of hits and a bunch of walks. He’s good again
  3. Overton deserves to stay over Thornton, he’s been good so far
  4. Yup. I don’t like the trade at all, Hand has been awful this year (even before the trade)
  5. Agree im so down for that
  6. “Dolis was great for us last year” “Hand is a great pitcher” Charlie would be trotting out Bautista everyday if he was on the roster
  7. Lol nah we’ll use them tomorrow when we’re winning 5-0. Could’ve used them both games but Charlie has to give everyone a turn
  8. Annoying that Charlie decides to punt a 2 run game with Washington’s s*** bullpen. Dumbass
  9. Why does Charlie never use our good arms when we’re losing but the game is close? We had an offday Monday and another Thursday... definitely should use Romano or Cimber here not Dolis
  10. That package is better than the package we gave Oakland for Donaldson, and Donaldson was arguably better than Ramirez is. IMO its a bit of an overpay and I wouldn’t pull the trigger on it. Pitching is more important to this team.
  11. That’s a heavy price tag and IMO i’d rather worry about the pitching than overpaying for Ramirez.
  12. Nah. If he spends more than 40 games on the DL next year then we can start worrying about the contract becoming Tulo-esque
  13. Sucks but obviously the right move. Don’t like hearing that its a knee issue now, ankle would have been better IMO. Hopefully he’s back by September but Charlie’s quote has me worried
  14. He’s already out of the slump. Looked a lot better in Seattle
  15. He’s a good player, seems to work hard and have a good attitude. But damn he’s ugly and annoying to play against
  16. Love his attitude too. He's a great player to have
  17. That offer would be a slap in the face to Teo. He'll get at least Ozuna money, possibly more if he stays consistent.
  18. I'd like to know how many times Romano has pitched with a 4+ run lead vs games with a closer score. Like that game 1 in Seattle, he didn't even get into the game even though it was tied. Then in game 3 he pitches in an 8-3 game. Montoyo ain't too bright.
  19. Or this points to Bo being hurt more then the team has let on... or its a combination of having a temporary backup for both
  20. I think something to note too is that we've played a lot of games vs Tampa, Boston and NY (40+ games) who all have some good bullpen arms. 8 of the top 25 relievers by WAR on those teams. At the end of the day, we have the 2nd best offense in baseball by wRC+ so I don't care much about the late inning thing.
