    Apparently he’s had a 122wRC+ since the allstar break, which is surprising to me. He’s been playing a lot better than people here give him credit for. Had an abysmal April and a bad June. He’s a bit shaky on D and probably shouldn’t be playing SS but that’s something to think about in the offseason. He really only has trouble with the “easy plays”, maybe just a mental thing. Its been a down year for him overall, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he put up 5 WAR next year. And like Gibby said, 29 other teams would be glad to have him.

    I think when all is said and done, Pearson’s bluejays tenure will be similar to Aaron Sanchez. About 1.5 seasons of good production, but other than that quite useless and often injured

    I feel like that’s too radical that nobody would try it. Decent idea but I can’t see it happening

    I would not extend Chapman. As we saw in 2020 (and some of 2021) if he loses the bat speed he becomes a much worse hitter. It just feels to me like he is a guy that would age badly with the bat. Give him the QO in 2023, if he takes it that’s fine.
