    Honestly good for him. He’s a good guy. Probably makes a great bench coach, just don’t think he has the chops to manage/helm a competing team.

    Yeah that’s what I mean, barely paid attention past the 5th inning and didn’t miss anything. Houston had a few base runners but nothing exciting after a handful of homers off McCullers

    It sucked as a baseball game. 7-0 blowouts aren’t exciting at all. The first 2 games were great

    Its fine to let a guy walk. Might even get his best year from it. IDK what competing team is willing to trade away a serviceable starter for 1 year of a 3 WAR corner OF making 15 mil

    I think you have to pass on Teo and let him walk honestly. Springer is pretty much the same type of player and he can take over one of the corners. Then I think we should get a lefty bat for the other corner, someone like Schwarber/Conforto would be a good fit. We already have too many high K high power righties in the lineup and I think we’d be better off diversifying the roster.

    This game is very possibly going to be cancelled/postponed. MLB saying they will push the whole schedule by a day if today is rained out (off day Friday) Could be a big break for the Phillies. f*** this weather

    How about Kirk for German and Bryant? Non-tender Teo, Bryant plays RF and then when Chapman leaves Bryant can play 3B for the remainder of his contract.

    I agree, there’s definitely merit to the idea that some guys are just more brittle/injury-prone. Mono wouldn’t keep most players out for an entire season…

    Jansen is the best player to be developed by the jays in recent years and it isn’t even close.

    Yup and thats all it takes sometimes for a team to go far/win it all. See: Washington 2019, Cleveland 2016, Atlanta 2021… etc Could have been us. Our guys all absolutely crapped the bed though.
