    You normally don’t sprint full out on (what looked like) a routine popup to the OF. Maybe he could’ve made it but I think he was kinda fooled by Acuna’s terrible read on the ball and assumed it was an easy catch

    These are the types of signings that great clubs make. Huge to get that kind of $/WAR value. (Semien and Ray fit into that elite deals category but they were only 1 year unfortunately)

    I’d be willing to bet the majority of times his command has been off is when he comes out to pitch a second inning after sitting on the bench for the hitting half. He seems to be great otherwise

    Right, and today worked out but last time didn’t. Playing with fire. Im f***ing sick of bringing in a guy for a 2nd inning, letting the first couple guys reach, then going with a new pitcher that should have just started the inning clean. Even today it happened with Yimi/Swanson and we got lucky. In Philly (and numerous other times) it did not work out
