  1. Damn what a game. Can we count this as 2 in the W column??
  2. Glad we’re giving Clement a potential shot. I mean he probably won’t play much if at all, but still not a bad try.
  3. I’ll take Varsho
  4. Kelenic sucked the lifeblood from Teo and Jrod to become an absolute monster
  5. You hear a lot of good hitters say they like to drive the ball up the middle or oppo, and that’s what Vlad/Chapman/Bo/Springer/Kirk/etc have been doing. But for whatever reason they aren’t getting enough power on it to knock them out. Almost wonder if MLB tampered with the ball again and the Jays FO didn’t get the memo.
  6. You can see very clearly what the issue is when watching the games, for whatever reason he can’t make contact on high fastballs. He swings underneath them. And when he does make contact, he clips the bottom of the ball and it goes for an infield popup. Hopefully that’s an easy adjustment to make, slightly adjusting the hands/swing path or something. I have no idea. But he looks eerily similar to Biggio at times which is scary to think about.
  7. Lol jeez did I? I don’t even remember
  8. When did I say that?? I was all for signing Conforto on a 1 yr deal this offseason. I 100% did not want Bellinger at that cost though
  9. There’s also potential for improvement as he hits his mid-late 20s when power normally surges. Vlad is still very young and people tend to forget
  10. I do think they consistently try to let guys play through injury vs letting them recover and come back strong…. we’ve definitely seen it with Springer, Teo, Vlad, Gurriel, and probably a bunch of other guys I’m forgetting. Organizational philosophy. Not sure which is better
  11. It would be pretty funny if the FO turned around and signed one of Teo/Lourdes in the offseason after missing some of their offense in the lineup. They could be relatively cheap signings, similar to what Haniger got. Varsho is probably better suited to CF. The fit is there…
  12. Realistically KK will walk this offseason and Varsho will be the everyday CF going forward. Also opens up a corner to sign a better bat, someone like Conforto/Pederson… maybe Teo??? Haha
  13. Love to see stuff like this. Baseball aint dead
  14. I’ll take Paredes tonight
  15. I still think the Jays finish ahead of the Orioles this season, 1 series doesn’t change my mind However next year and beyond I think it will be a coin toss on who is better
  16. Yup its all frustrating. Could be random luck or could be an organizational issue. Or maybe just a coaching issue. Hard for us to tell really.
  17. Plenty of opportunities to win this one and they squandered all of them. f***ing embarrassing at this point
  18. Berrios would probably be best, yeah. Or Kikuchi. Then Varsho to Catcher if needed
  19. Its so crazy, you could run simulations for a month and probably never get results as bad as the Jays have had the past week
  20. Yeah like if those teams had lost to Texas in 2015 and then Orioles in the wildcard, do we look at AA as favorably? Hell no. That could have been the 2021 and 2022 jays but it just wasn’t in the stars. Maybe we get those moments in 2023/2024.
  21. Keirmaier is like the only one f***ing trying right now. This team is awful to watch currently
  22. Another 0-2 with RISP that inning Im just gonna stop watching for a few days
