    The analytics probably say otherwise, which is why they keep doing it. I get it though, sometimes the moves they make are just puzzling.

    You know why the Houston Astros barely got punished for proven cheating?? Because there's actually a lot of cheating going around that players/owners know about, and MLB was trying to keep it from turning into a huge scandal.

    I think its including flyballs that didn't leave the park but could have in other parks. Ex: deep flyout to RF in Fenway

    Yeah idk who was claiming the pen is “elite” but it never was. Romano probably the only “elite” guy we have and even he is inconsistent. Offense yeah I guess you could argue they should have more homeruns and its potentially costing them games since the numbers with RISP have been pretty bad. They need to improve numbers with RISP and with runners on 3rd with less than 2 outs.

    That’s true but its hard for me to believe that its THAT simple. Because when he’s “on” he’s borderline unhittable. Im still not convinced he’s tipping something when he has these disaster outings

    Yup end of the day offense isn’t a problem. Its the major implosions from the Starters (mainly Manoah, sometimes Kikuchi and sometimes Gausman) and bullpen that’s making us lose games

    I found it funny that they decided to pinch run Espinal with KK and not Kirk. Clearly they had PTSD from that Friday game. Did they forget that Espinal was recovering from a leg injury??? Too funny

    With Chapman, he's just striking out more now and swinging at bad pitches. Also missing the ones he was crushing earlier. Also maybe opposing teams have updated their OF positioning to account for him being more of an oppo hitter now.

    He’ll probably get some more playtime now with Belt possibly going to the DL. Really hoping he makes the most of it

    Yeah that’s the jist of it. We come here to discuss the team. The highs, the lows, the faults, the accomplishments. But there’s a collection of posters here that do nothing but bitch and moan and constantly bash the team. I don’t enjoy reading people complaining about a trade we made in the offseason EVERY SINGLE TIME the dude strikes out.
