    Heading to the Trop for a wildcard series and losing yet again would be devastating. I’d rather lose to the Twins. I’d rather WIN, but if we had to pick a team to lose to I’d pick the Twins

    Can we all agree Baltimore is a f***ing dump of a city though? Camden Yards is one of the best parks i’ve been to but the city itself is awful.

    Im like 99% sure Espinal has some kind of leg/foot issue. Could be bad knees, plantar fasciitis, or shin splints or something. But the dude walks/moves around like he’s 90 years old

    There’s a decent chance White breaks camp as the 5th starter, especially if there’s an injury to one of the main 4 guys.

    Defense is definitely still extremely important. The Bautista homerun doesn’t happen with good D. Also with good D Texas likely wins the WS in 2011

    Anyone that watches the playoffs knows this. Almost all the big games in the last 10 years have been decided by homeruns

    Even with 2 big bats missing. Good time to be hot, would be very nice if they could remain hot for a few weeks.

    They seem like such an obvious spot for either Chapman/Candelario, and probably someone like Joc Pederson/Conforto too. Ryu maybe to shore up the rotation?

    What an excellent series by the boys. Almost a sweep too. They showed up big time these last couple weeks. Need to go like 3-3 these last 6 games and we should be good.

    Really curious if the front office has dialogue with JS after games like this and if they criticize his pen management. Would love to be a fly on the wall for those daily/weekly meetings

    Bottom line we didn’t lose ground today. Tough loss, probably should’ve won but that’s how she goes. Win the series tomorrow and we’re still in good shape.

    Could argue we shouldn’t have been ahead anyways if not for some crazy luck. We’ve had some crazy luck in general this past week, can’t expect to come out on top every time
