  1. Don’t be so certain about that
  2. What do the AA shills say?? That Aaron Bummer was a great trade?
  3. When Soto pulls the ball in the air its probably long gone anyways... it would be more helpful if he was a righty IMO
  4. Ohtani destroyed the winter meetings of 2023. Boring so far
  5. They probably wont. Yankees seem to always get away with trading crap prospects they never wanted anyways in these big deals. Wouldn’t be surprised if they take on Cronenworth and other salary to lessen the package to SD
  6. Mid 30s, yes. Late 30s it would get more questionable. Plenty of guys with less athleticism than Ohtani have played OF into their late 30s and 40s. But anyways, you’re assuming worst-case scenario like you usually do when it comes to the Jays. Ohtani could likely morph into a hybrid DH/RP or OF/RP if it’s proven he’s no longer an effective SP.
  7. Exactly. I don’t see any reality where Ohtani is strictly DHing until his late 30s at least
  8. I did read your post. If Ohtani can’t pitch at an elite level, he won’t be a DH. He’ll be an OF.
  9. Bellinger maybe. They made a big play for him last offseason but fell short
  10. Bellinger makes a ton of sense for the Yanks. More than Soto. Judge shouldn’t be in CF if they wanna keep him productive into his late 30s
  11. Fixed for you. But actually, seems like a lot of people don’t want Ohtani so nobody will care much other than Term
  12. He won’t be strictly a DH beyond this season jesus f***ing christ
  13. Nobody from the front office has outright said anything bad about Manoah. “Leaks” aren’t the same as someone directly saying something to the media. There’s a difference
  14. I agree with the general sentiment, however if its down to Jays vs Dodgers and he was still very split on his decision…. It could be a tipping point. Maybe he doesn’t want to play for a manager that can’t keep a simple secret like that? Imagine what else Roberts could leak about Ohtani’s recovery, injuries, personal issues, etc.
  15. I gotta try one in the states, because the one in Toronto is solid but nothing amazing.
