    No it stems from the fact he was only really good for 2-3 years at the height of the spider tack era, and he’s now 3 years older and hasn’t been playing at the same level since then.

    This dude is such a loser. Also, I still don’t understand all the people assuming he’s gonna pitch like a #1/2 if he were to come back to MLB. In all likelihood he pitches like a 5/AAA fodder, and that’s not worth the heat he would bring by signing him.

    This documentary on Arjun Nimalla/Indian baseball is kinda sad NGL. Interviewing the former Indian baseball prospect Dinesh Patel (guy from the million dollar arm movie) and he's reminiscing about his time back in the US with the pirates farm system, holding back tears.

    Multiple reports saying he can't really play the position, plus the jays seemingly moving him away from the position and playing him in the OF more even though we have a hole at 3B.

    Short limbs. Plus base-stealing seems to be an entirely different skillset. One thing I noticed though is that Varsho usually slides feet-first. All the best base stealers go head first.

    Sure but would you want a meh bat + meh defender? Seems the org has soured on Barger/Schneider/Orelvis at 3B. By all accounts, it seems like none of them are adequate defenders there. Seems maybe they learned a lot from the Vlad and Biggio mistakes, don't try to force the issue. I think maybe that's why they decided on IKF. At least he's an elite player at 3B in one aspect.

    Atkins completely bungled this offseason IMO. Totally didn’t need guys like IKF and KK, we needed 1-2 impact bats. Wasted money on those guys for no reason.

    Bellinger to the Cubs for 3/80 lolll Damn I kinda wish we had gone for that.

    Lotta offense, could watch the first couple innings. Highlight of the game was probably Bo single + steal + Turner single to score a run. Wanna see more of that during the season. Chad Dallas looked great. Pearson looked awful. Jansen had a nice double too. That’s about it.

    Spanky told me the park is neutral, you’re wrong. Just a coincidence that Vlad, Semien, Teo, Kirk, etc all had career years.
