  1. Hit it far better than the previous handful of hits lol
  2. Soto is on fire. I seem to remember him being a slow starter, of course not this year… Could be an MVP-type season unfolding
  3. Yariel is on an innings limit, so even if he pitches like a cy young candidate he probably won’t see more than about 100 innings. We’ll definitely need Manoah at some point, especially if Tiedemann misses extended time now too.
  4. We’ve seen it before where the front office does offday + rest day back to back. I bet this is just a scheduled rest day for him. Or he had a rough flight who knows
  5. To be fair, he lost me back in 2022. Lets not pretend the Berrios thing was HIS decision
  6. Its so dumb, he looked great last year in the BP and he’s an absolute disaster as a starter. Put him back in the BP instead of sending Meyer down lol. I have him on my rebuild team so im holding on hoping he goes back to the BP by next year. If I had him on a good team I’d probably drop.
  7. I also tried those on Tuesday lol. The worker’s recommended the ramen dog, tried it with the spicy Mayo. Was pretty tasty and crunchy. I’d go for it again.
  8. Sheeeeeit i’d be front office shill #1 for some free tix each week. Ross hit me up you beautiful bastard
  9. Should’ve traded him for Soto
  10. Maybe he’ll adjust by the time he’s 34
  11. I’ll pull a play from your book: All we can see as the fans are games on TV. He looked great in his spring start when he came back from injury. But the front office has more evidence and should know better than to be swayed by in-game results. He probably should have been built up first.
  12. Yankees fans absolutely HATE the jays. Since we have Springer on the team we obviously must be cheating any time we win. If Vlad starts hitting well then obviously he’s on juice. Romano throwing 100? Spider tack
  13. Life isn’t black and white, hopefully you learn this someday
  14. Its true, of all the times Pearson got sent down, this was the one time he actually deserved to stay. Gotta be frustrating/demoralizing as a player to finally feel good after years of struggling, getting good results, and you immediately get sent down.
  15. Remember you used to call me an “Atkins apologist” or something?
  16. This after seeing that Gausman clearly isn’t ready or built up from his injury either. Also the Manoah rollercoaster in 2022 where he clearly still had no control in his minor league outings and he was brought back up to the majors and was still a disaster. Also remember the Belt thing in 2022 where he barely played in spring and clearly wasn’t ready, looked like he hadn’t swung a bat in 6 months for the first few weeks of the season. If it was a 1-time occurrence then fine i’d give them a pass. But it seems to be a recurring issue putting guys into roles/spots where they clearly aren’t ready or capable. Im almost certain it will happen again with Manoah soon enough. The front office seems to not care about punting games in April/May, and its been a recurring issue each year.
  17. Hader has been an absolute disaster for them so far, kinda feel bad… but not really.
  18. People/media that try to argue the AL East isn’t the strongest division by a longshot are just not paying attention.
  19. Great point. Although Brownie will now come and tell us all why the front office made the correct decision and that we’re all armchair GMs.
  20. A few absolute bombs recently too. Dude is still a monster… when healthy
