I actually kinda guessed it lol. Seems every year something goes catastrophically wrong. I was predicting the offense would be great this year but the BP would s*** the bed…. I was half right

Oh we scored 8 runs today, must’ve won right?? Right??

Jansen one of the only guys having consistently great at bats rn. He’s absolutely smoking liners

The numbers will come around. Don’t panic over SSS. /s

Jesus what a swing of bad luck in those Turner and Bo at bats. We’re actually gonna lose a series to the Nationals lol

It was a just a bad bunt. Better question is why are we trying to run a bunt play there

Could be fatigue or just 3rd time through the order better eyes kinda thing.
  12. Stangstag
Yeah I thought he looked alright for the first couple innings

Jays have the best pitching depth in the league! A top 3 cy young finalist from 2022 in the minors!

I said it before the Winker homer lol

Manoah hasn’t exactly looked BAD, but his stuff isn’t as crisp. More hittable
  16. Stangstag
    Yeah right
  17. Stangstag
He’s been straight nasty, 11.41 K/9 now with a 2.63 ERA. Hasn’t really had a single bad start, and he’s faced a few good teams like Baltimore, Phils, Brewers.

Does AA have a time machine or something? What?
  19. Stangstag
Throwing equipment is normally a fine + warning, not instant ejection. Judge shouldn’t have been ejected either.

Good win, really don’t feel confident about any of our bullpen guys right now other than Garcia. Romano has not looked good either.

True, wonder what those mid 2000s teams could have done with a top 10 payroll
  22. Stangstag
Walker Buehler didn’t look like a #6 starter in his last MLB season though
  23. Stangstag
    Niceee.

    Bring back the garbage cans

Do any of you guys actually go to the games? The fan experience (the spaces, food, beverage, etc) is better than its ever been in the club’s history. For that I thank Shapiro and i’ll always be grateful. But yes, the success of the actual team has been disappointing. Shapiro should stay but he needs to bring in a new GM. If he doesn’t, then that’s a failure on him.
