    Springer had 0 coaches go up to check on him and see if he was ok when he got back to the dugout. The complacency on this team is something else

    See this is the problem with this team. Springer clearly looking like he hurt himself during that at bat, he goes back to the dugout and no coaches go up to have a chat with him.

    The whitesox are actually a good comp. Sadly. But it feels like the great orgs like Astros, Dodgers, Rays, Braves, etc don’t miss like that. Or don’t miss that badly. Although 2 of those teams look like s*** right now…

    Then maybe the front office shouldn’t have relied so much on guys that were out of shape for their entire minor league careers? If you think that the overweight thing is the main issue. I feel more like the main issue is the coaching and development at the higher levels. Its quite possible that the major league coaching staff is dogwater. Or maybe its the inability of our front office to properly identify key metrics when evaluating players. Or maybe it was all just bad luck that half our roster blew up at the same time.

    He was pretty f***ing good in 2023 but yeah year 1 was a disaster. Actually both of our best pitchers this season were absolute dumpster fires in 2022.

    I’d like to bring Kooch back on another short term deal, not sure if there’s a point though depending on how we finish in the standings

    Lets just hope they let us trade away the valuable players to start the rebuild with a leg up

    Hard to see us ever having lean years like the current Orioles squad. I would think Rogers at least continues to push short term deals to keep the team from tanking 100%. Deals like Turner, KK, etc will likely still happen even during a rebuild

    Can’t wait to trade away Varsho for a fraction of the cost we acquired him for

    Im not sure why we weren’t interested in giving him a shot as 5th starter. I guess the front office likes Manoah and Yrod better?? Maybe Hicks wasn’t interested in coming back at all
