    Dude we've been over this, IDK exactly whats happening with the org/coaching staff but SOMETHING happened after 2022 and things changed for the worse. I would not be surprised to see guys like Vlad, Bo, Kirk, Springer, etc start hitting better next year with different people in charge.

    Im almost certain the low homeruns thing will change overnight with a new coaching staff/front office personnel. Something rotten is going on with the hitting philosophy

    Yes. Im still pretty confident he’ll end the season on 4ish WAR. Which is why IMO it would be better to trade him in the offseason

    Atkins seems like a guy dumb enough to ask for “your top 2 prospects” for Vladdy and accept whatever team agrees to the offer, regardless of the players

    True, though i don't think i'd feel comfortable giving Vlad a huge 200 million contract, which is likely what it will take. Would be nice if he turns out to be our Bautista 2.0 though, like he stays through the rebuild and then has some great playoff moments in his 30s when the team is good again.

    Yes, looking back there isn’t really anything that could have been done to “fix” this team. If Vlad and Bo aren’t playing like they should, and Springer and Kirk are giving almost nothing, not much would have changed. But I still can be upset that they basically ignored to offense after looking so terrible last season. They didn’t improve the team where it clearly needed to be improved. If you or anyone else thinks im unreasonable for that, im not really sure what to say.

    Yeah and that’s why nobody is really complaining that they didn’t beef up/add pieces to the bullpen. Because last year it was great and its the same group of guys. Can’t do much about that. You cannot say the same for the offense. They should have done a better job addressing that weakness. Im not saying things would be “fixed” but I hate the fact that they made 0 improvements to the team’s weakest area and its a problem again for the 2nd year in a row.

    And I mentioned losing Belt (and not replacing the production) because he was one of the biggest power sources and best hitters for us last season. Stop being obtuse
