    I really didn't like bringing back KK. Like you say, we got the best possible outcome in 2023 and we had to pay MORE for him this year, when we knew we needed more offense

    Remember when Pete Alonso accused MLB of altering the balls year to year?? MLB using dead balls for this upcoming FA class would make sense.... some big names like Bregman, Soto, Alonso, Goldy, Bellinger, etc.

    Yes. I think he got too cute trying to get "ahead of the curve" and it has backfired immensely.

    I keep trying to say its an organizational/coaching issue, and people keep saying im wrong and dumb. IMO its no coincidence the entire chemistry/attitude/approach of the offense changed completely from 2022 to 2023, the same year the shift ban started. The same offseason they started talking about having a more “well-rounded” offense.

    Also Varsho’s homer in Detroit to complete the comeback, though they did end up losing.

    Camden Yards is definitely a gem nestled in a pile of s***. Top 5 park in the MLB easily

    Man, trading all those guys would go a long way in restocking the farm system. KK Turner IKF Jansen Kikuchi Yimi and possibly Bo/Vlad Gotta think our farm could jump up like 10-15 spots in the rankings by making those moves. Tempting.

    The 2016 team was not great, barely made the PS but they did make it to the ALCS which was nice. 2015 was clearly the best team since the 90s. 2021 team is probably a close 2nd. The 2021-2023 teams were better than the 2016 team IMO

    This is not a given, he has little to no experience there so he’d be having to learn a new position basically. Probably better off just keeping him at SS and playing IKF at 2nd

    Tbf King looked solid last year, but yeah Yanks never seem to get the bad end of a trade.
