    Honestly probably for the best. This team was a prime candidate to stand pat/add pieces at the deadline only to crater right after and still miss the playoffs. Being good or bad is better than being mediocre/stuck in the middle, and this team is stinky which bodes well for the future

    They never really changed the rest of the staff though, which is the main issue. All they did was bump the bench coach up. A phantom firing if you will, and John clearly didn’t have the balls (or wasn’t allowed to) bring in his own guys. Its the same thing as having a toxic workplace and firing the manager and just bumping everyone up a role. Need to clean house
