  1. Wishful thinking. Barger is a K machine, he will get exposed by MLB pitching with enough PA
  2. I dont believe he will stick, its a mirage right now. My japanese buddies all said he kinda sucks as a 3B, he profiles more like a 1B/DH Dude is not a MLB caliber 3B
  3. Amazing. BamBam is back Just needs to start smackin those dingers
  4. Bo to Okamoto is an obvious downgrade, sorry Also don’t agree with the starting pitching being an “upgrade” Gausman 1 year older Cease is hot now but his ERA will balloon like usual, he basically replaces Bassitt Bieber probably never pitches Yesavage is unproven, wouldn’t rely on him Scherzer, Berrios and Lauer all seem like trash this year We have 3 starters, all of them worse than the Yankees top 3 starters
  5. Kyle Tucker is a bum with no chin though, they should’ve gone hard for Bellinger The offense MIGHT have a chance at being good with a guy like Bellinger in there Thanks to Shatkins, it stinks
  6. Pretty much the same as last year, just sub Okamoto for Bo Not as good
  7. All these negative nancys are scaring the more POSITIVE people off the forum. TheY'Re sO uNWelCoMinG aNd RUinINg tHe BOarD
  8. 2 wildcard spots at under .500 is so nutty lol. Exactly why its dumb to worry too much about standings this early. Just need to play better ball and get back to .500
  9. Yep. Although its getting to the point now where the Jays are beginning to dig a hole. Can’t let that hole get much bigger or it won’t be possible to climb out. If we can manage to get back to .500 by June i’ll be happy
  10. This is actually pretty surprising to me. My gut said the Redsox had way more playoff success than the Jays, but other than being able to finish the job, its pretty even. I guess their true dominant stretch was from 2002 til 2013
  11. Hope. At the very least, we’re only 1 game out of a playoff spot… because most of the AL has played like dogcrap This team WILL be better
  12. And of course they were closest 2014 and 2021, two years they didn’t even make the playoffs bahaha
  13. Actually comical that the closest they were to 1st was in 2014 of all years haha. Goes to show it doesn’t exactly matter I’ll always hold firm that a team just needs to hang around .500 by the allstar break/trade deadline, and you can still win the division and definitely at least nab a playoff spot.
  14. Seriously feels like it happens every single year. At least 1 ALE team goes in a tear and its never the Jays
  15. Vlad not hitting at least 4-5 homeruns a month is a massive disappointment, full stop
  16. Im sure we’re all annoyed at the way they’ve been playing. Just gotta hope they put things back together and make a run at it. We’ve seen worst case scenario (2024) and best case scenario (2025) while the true talent level is likely somewhere around 86 wins.
  17. Idk if the link will work here but this is exactly what im talking about. Feel vs real. I bet these guys aren’t actually “getting on top of the ball” but that’s what they tell others Get It Done League (@getitdoneleague) • Instagram reel WWW.INSTAGRAM.COM 895 likes, 14 comments - getitdoneleague on May 6, 2026: "MVP for a reason. 🎥...
  18. And the evidence is the way Pujols talked about Vlad on MLB network the other day. All praise for the avg
