Exactly how I feel about the situation. Arod didn't deserve to be suspended for a whole season and lose 27mil, and he doesn't deserve this ******** now. Its not like the Yankees didn't know he was juicing when he initially signed the contract. Everyone knew, and nobody cared. Now all of a sudden he gets suspended and dragged through a bed of nails even though he never actually tested positive. And he'll never get into the Hall of Fame even though he is one of the best shortstops/third basemen to ever play the game. Meh whatever -

So dumb. They should have given Pompey another month at least. We all know that Pompey's ceiling is much higher than Pillar's. It doesn't look like we have a shot at the playoffs this year with our pitching in shambles. Why not let the young guys play?

IF he were to win a CY, I have absolutely no faith that he would still be good in 2016. He's just too inconsistent, plus he'll be another year older. I was dead serious

How is that horrible? Bautista and Edwin are 2 of the top hitters in Baseball, and Martin and Donaldson are 2 of the top players in baseball with defense factored in. Reyes at 22million sucks but he'll still provide at least 2 WAR

Definitely would decline the option. Even if he were to win another CY this year, I would drop him after the season. He's just too old now and there are better options out there.

For 15mil? Lol no thanks. With Buehrle, Dickey, and Romero off the books next year that should free up around 30 million. Enough to sign a legit frontline starter
