I'll explain it to you. Jays winning by 2 runs, with 2 innings left. Our best guys are Loup and Cecil. There were 3 lefty batters coming up. Putting Loup in for the 8th to match up against the lefties makes complete sense. Then Cecil would pitch the 9th. If you disagree with me, you are just wrong. Sorry. You don't leave the rookie in to pitch the 8th with a 2-run lead when you have better options in the pen still.
