    The gun at RC is actually hooked up to pitchFX. Other sources (those with access to Trackman data) have confirmed he had starts that year where he was sitting 94/95. Touching 97 even.

    Well he did get sent to the minors AND got claimed by the As at separate points. Though that might just point to AA's incompetence more than Edwin's.

    I highly doubt he's going to sign here for one year as a free agent on the open market. His agent seems to think Winz and ERAz are going to build his value. Pitching on the AL East's worst team aren't conducive to achieving those goals.

    An average shot differential of around -10? The Leafs aren't very good. Even the TSN guys said the other day "Eventually your goalies aren't going to stop 95% of the shots they face."

    You said it yourself. He has 1 year left of control. The value CR as a baseball asset is very limited because of that. As my history on here would clearly indicate, I f***ing hate committing anything longish term to arms but even I can say that Derek Holland is far more valuable an asset than Colby Rasmus at the given time.

    If not for injury, Cooper would have projected to be a slightly above avg bat. Which makes him pretty useless on the whole since he plays 1B poorly. A great wise man even once said Cooper had a .800 OPS floor. 120 for Calhoun does surprise me a bit, but I don't think it's egregious.

    Hire one of the two Directors of R&D from the Rays (they don't have AGMs there). They'll be hired somewhere in the next 5 years. Might as well be here. Then I can actually give a s*** about this team again.

    All things considered (like a proper innings projection), I don't think you should rationally predict more than about 3- 3.5 WAR from Price going forward. So, that's obviously a good pitcher still, but I agree that he's probably not an elite elite guy. Velo drop being the biggest concern. Steamer captures that drop. I'll be interested to see their projection for him next year.
