  1. Tony Cingrani is UNDERrated. He hits 95 from the left with exceptional command and a changeup that flashes plus. He reminds me a lot of Cliff Lee, and I don't think he'll get his due respect until he sustains this production for a full season, but he is a damn good pitcher.
  2. Me and Kat just pulled off a blockbuster: To Kat: Ryan Zimmerman and Jon Lester To Me: Jose Fernandez It will hurt my playoff push this year, but I am in love with Jose so I can live with that.
  3. I would disagree with your statement that Asdrubal has been worse than Andrus. Andrus is a deathblow to your SLG, so many dinky ABs. I'll take the solid across the board of Asdrubal any day. A 103 wRC+ is actually quite decent for a SS, and he's Top 5 in SS wRC+ over the last 3 years while still in his prime. Yahoo ranks are, of course, irrelevant to our league.
  4. Bogaerts playing 3B tonight in Pawtucket. Looks like he'll be one and done for SS eligibility, sorry BTS.
  5. No one is looking for closers. Huston Street and Chris Perez have been shopped hard for a month now with nary a nibble.
  6. It sucks when you have a Holds beast and he becomes a closer after you've punted saves. :/
  7. Who gives a s*** about Cory Rasmus? Seriously people.
  8. Even taking SB into consideration, my offense has a .704 W%, while 2nd Leg is at .651.
  9. Sorry, but I ran the z scores this morning. My team is +13 on offense while no other team cracked +6. So I really don't give a s*** if I have -85 SB, my offense is the best by a mile. Your methodology is broken.
  10. How the f*** do your PRs not have me first in offense? That's seriously whack.
  11. Nick's team is really good at pitching to the score. He's the Jack Morris of the league.
  12. If we could get CarMart for JJ, I'd s*** my pants with excitement. Until the Jays announced him as their closer of the future.
  13. I would say it's a big blow for you that Pujols is out for the year, but he's been utter shite so far. Chris Carter has more HR and a higher OPS.
  14. Strength of schedule has evened out now that we've been through the league once. You still have a legit contender, just not the standalone powerhouse you envisioned early on.
  15. What happened to NorthOf49's 20 game lead on the league? RTTM is a beautiful thing.
  16. Brooklyn Rays has a nice ring to it.
  17. We already have a Gordon Beckham.
  18. Stroman/Hutch as a healthy 4/5 is nice to dream on for next year, and Sanchez should be in AA by then.
  19. Personally I don't want to see Hutch back on the big club this year unless he's fully stretched out and dominating AA. We have nothing to gain by rushing him. I'd rather give Stroman a shot in the rotation if we need someone in the near future.
  20. Yeah, I have no luck with this s***.
  21. He hit 96 quite a few times last year and sat at 93-95 in several starts.
  22. 4 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 8 K last night in a rehab start in Dunedin. We actually have something to look forward to folks.
