  1. Not really a sell per se, with him acquiring a workhorse 30-something SP in return. He mitigates the injury risk for Lee and probably gets 3-5 extra seasons out of Shields.
  2. With Oso Blanco back on the field, rent-a-catcher Saltalamacchia is available. Looking for a holds guy, backup MIF, or pick/prospect. I'm sending out a few such offers.
  3. Just cut him already and make your other trade. He's waiver fodder.
  4. I had an okay week, you had a really good one. Congrats on the win! It always feels nice as a contender to get a decisive victory over the 1st place team.
  5. I've never seen Spanky make a bad trade that I can remember.
  6. Winker has below average speed, arm, and D. He's a LF-only guy who doesn't project for a ton of power, so his hitting will have to carry him at every level. Hes a better fantasy prospect than real life prospect.
  7. I don't really understand trading a known above average commodity like Rendon (who is also young) for an unproven commodity, especially since Boxy already has Correa. Darvish is the best player in the deal so I like SG's end of it. Good for him for recognizing a window to make some noise and then getting some reinforcements. It's worth noting though that Gio has been excellent lately, so it's no guarantee that Darvish is even better ROS.
  8. Pujols, easily. Verlander could wind up being an ugly albatross too.
  9. Sanchez has really done nothing to warrant a placement anywhere inside a Top 25. If I could use him as the main piece for Lee, Hamels, or Price, I'd be all over that.
  10. Can't even spell your own player's name. Wow.
  11. Haven't had a lot of interest in him so far, it seems nobody in this league likes a buy-low opportunity. There are rumours he could end up in Boston as part of a Jake Peavy trade.
  12. Shin-Soo Choo and Allen Craig are also on the market.
  13. I'm in on Bautista and I have a chip that I know Spanky wants.
  14. The bottom is going to fall out on Locke any day now.
  15. You mean the Marco Estrada who just lost his rotation spot? With this kind of misinformation, no wonder your team is badly underperforming their PR.
  16. I expected Davis' production to be similar to his 2nd half last year/2012 season. I didn't expect him to turn into Chris Carter, so I'm guessing the oblique is still an issue.
  17. According to the spreadsheet I've been given, I will draft Kevin Hayes, RW.
  18. He's probably a safer bet than a lot of sexier names, like Shelby Miller for example.
  19. I don't really see his K/9 staying above 8 with his below average SwStr and 50 grade fastball, but I also haven't ever watched him pitch so maybe I'm not giving him enough credit. As a win-now team I would do that deal, but long-term, I like Soler as the best asset changing hands here.
