  1. Torii Hunter is scorching hot and could be available for a similar value pitcher. Or you could buy Michael Bourn if you really feel like ravaging your slashline.
  2. Well, they put Goldy out for the year, so quite frankly, f*** them. They sewered my championship run for FC.
  3. Craig (no big loss to my roster) and Garza, who has been a solid contributor lately. I lose Garza here and FC, which really sticks in my craw. Glad to hear Cutch is out, I don't own any shares.
  4. Son of a bitch, two more DLs for me today. FML.
  5. But FWIW, I like Tapia's fantasy pontential as much as or more than any bat taken in our draft this year.
  6. Well, if you don't have a BP subscription, there's a pretty good chance you've never even heard of him.
  7. I would have wanted Salazar + one of Harvey or Tapia as a starting point, but I'm high on Tapia.
  8. Oh, and he plays for a s***** team. Winz matter in dynasty ball.
  9. Nick has always been the high man on Niese IIRC. Not a bad contributor by any means, but lets run down the reasons why a rebuilding team wouldn't love him: - Nearly 28 - Velo down to 88 MPH - History of shoulder problems - SwStr down to a pitiful 6.1% Again, not a bad contributor despite these red flags, but we've seen his upside and it's in the rearview.
  10. On the plus side, I'm pretty happy that Greinke went to a fringe contender (all due respect) rather than a powerhouse.
  11. No. You should probably accept that a 27 year old with an extensive injury history isn't a very attractive centrepiece for a rebuilding team.
  12. He has a goos initial run because of his arm deception, but in the longer run his extreme fastball usage has predictably led to a drop in SwStr% and a spike in HR rate. The career FIP is surprisingly a below average 4.35 now.
  13. Personally I wouldn't have considered moving him without getting a Top 20 prospect (like Noah) + a 1st and other pieces.
  14. I like this deal for jaysblue. Cingrani has been exposed this year and the other pieces are more quantity than quality. The 1st rounder should be in the teens, Piscotty doesn't have much power for a COF, and Herrera and Cain are replacement level IMO.
  15. I'm curious how BPT has a higher xW% than TNT despite a lower z score?
  16. Nice work GD, and nice touch on the Winker reference!
  17. Been there before. Also, ughhh Goldy broke his hand. That's a huge blow.
  18. Just like how Jake Marisnick is a bankable 20/20 guy, amirite?
  19. Yes, because Winker is a league average corner OF bat.
  20. My penis just became an inny.
  21. I think the career-ending talk is premature. Season-ending, probably.
  22. I'd say it's extremely likely that Craig regresses to the 120 wRC+/.300+ hitter that he's been throughout his career.
  23. Going from a 137 wRC+ in 2012 to 134 in 2013 doesn't represent a statistically significant decline. And he's always carried a high BABIP (.330 career even now). This year is the outlier in that regard.
  24. He had a 134 wRC+ in 2013, same as Posey and Stanton. #DECLINE
