  1. I like Archer a lot, but I'm quite worried about Choo.
  2. To BTS: Choo To Spanky: Cobb & Archer To Dinger: Bautista & 2nd (T&T)
  3. I would have agreed with you right up until Billy Beane acquired him.
  4. I think it's probably okay where it is. You would have a tough time winning the counting stats if you pulled all your pitchers at the minimum.
  5. If we rolled over priority year to year then I would care more. Then again, if we did that, I wouldn't have claimed him.
  6. I transferred Vogelsuck to LS; may he torch your ratios during the playoffs.
  7. Cool, so I burned my waiver priority for nothing.
  8. I was wondering that too. I saw him on waivers so I claimed him. I don't see why silvergun and cats ass wouldnt have created a trade and processed Vogelsong through. Dropping players to waivers is not how we process trades.
  9. Anything can happen in a one week matchup, there are several elite teams. I don't think you ever stop trying to improve your team though, even if you are a contender. Choo and Craig have both been in prolonged slumps, so I am absolutely in on Bautista.
  10. Everybody who's contending this year made offers, I assume. There's no such thing as not needing Bautista.
  11. Or Syndergaard could explode, rendering your offer neutered.
  12. Then why did you offer Salazar + Harvey + your 1st?
  13. Yeah, about that. It was a strange choice when Jesus made Josh throw that ball into the stands that killed a man in front of his young son. THE LORD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!
  14. I don't need to, I always offer top dollar.
  15. Cowboy Killers is the worst. He sent me about 50 insulting offers for JF right after the injury.
  16. He made a similar offer for Fernandez. Truly idiotic.
  17. I did feel a bit benevolent trading away Jose Fernandez. At least the basement dwellers can take solace in knowing that my core should be in significant decline in the next 2-3 years.
  18. Coming into the year I would have taken Lee by a landslide, but elbow injuries are scary and he's probably going to retire at the end of this deal. I can see why a team would prefer Shields if they were less concerned about going all in this year and more concerned with sustaining a winning team for the next few years.
