  1. If anybody is going to cut their s*****, busted ass prospects, give me a shout. I might give a late pick for a couple of them -- better something than nothing!
  2. Good team! I would prefer another closer to Ike Davis, but since that's LaTroy Hawkins, I guess not.
  3. Lol Boxy. I stand by what I said, Almora will have a longer and better career (by WAR).
  4. LOB has 41, 63, and 84. Not bad considering my propensity to trade any prospect of value.
  5. Mondesi ahead of Tim Anderson. This is actually the worst BP 101 I've ever seen. Please bring back Parks and Goldstein.
  6. Swihart ahead of Joc and Soler. Yuckkkk.
  7. Almora #38 baby! Seriously though, this list is awful. Chi chi Gonzalez ahead of Norris and Rodon? Russell ahead of Correa?
  8. Yeah, but prospect rankings change very quickly. For all we know, Rodon could have permanent command issues.
  9. I gotta say, if I'd done this trade a few days ago, I probably would have kept Moss. Oh well.
  10. Meh, everybody hated my trade the day before. f*** em.
  11. Exactly, trust your valuations and get the guy you like. I won't even be upset if Bird is a fantasy monster for Boxy... well, unless Rodon busts completely.
  12. I really think Bird can be a .370 OBP guy in the majors. His value is going to spike big time this year if he repeats his AA numbers across a full season.
  13. Great ballpark, low walk rate, he's a projection dreamboat. I could definitely envision a scenario where Rodon busts or becomes a reliever and Blackburn has a long, productive career.
  14. I'm just pointing out that, at least in my opinion, Bird is getting slept on because he doesn't rank super high in Top 100 lists, mostly because he's a 1B. The dude walked at 15% in his first taste at AA and mashed a 450 ft home run this fall. Nobody paid much attention to Paul Goldschmidt until he kept mashing in the majors, but as we've seen with Freeman and Rizzo, there's definitely such a thing as a good 1B prospect.
  15. It's Greg Bird + Clayton Blackburn for Rodon and a pick. Boxy is doubling down on the OBP machine after drafting him in LOD. I really think Bird is under the radar at the moment, but he's tailor made for fantasy as a lefty with power and OBP skills in Yankee Stadium. Steamer likes Blackburn quite a bit too, although he gets labeled as a mid-rotation ceiling guy. He could be a nice asset in K/BB leagues and he's pitched well while being young for his level. I recently acquired Blackburn for Garza and he hasn't even played a MiLB game for me, but I am seduced by Rodon's cathedral ceiling.
  16. The Hector Rondon Sweepstakes continue, but Carlos Rodon just found a new home.
  17. Why do you care about our future payroll? Winning before Bautista leaves and/or declines is really all that matters. A playoff appearance or two would go a long way to defraying the s***** investment anyway. Get the good player here while we're still competitive and deal with the financial fallout afterwards. It's not like he's asking for 7/140, anyway. In any case it's manageable.
  18. I love CARLOS Rodon. I'd given up Anibal for him in a heartbeat.
  19. Oh son of a bitch, Kingkat. Disregard.
