Personally, if they've signed with a team, and Yahoo puts them in the database, I think they should be fair game. This won't be the case for Moncada anyway, since they won't add him to the db even if he signs.

As soon as the draft begins, new additions are frozen. Hence, we won't start early with Olivera on the verge of signing (and others).

Overall, it's the weakest waiver draft in recent memory. 2014: Tanaka, Abreu 2013: Ryu, Puig 2012: Darvish, Cespedes

I'd probably prefer Kang. Some combo of those two and Souza in the Top 3, IMO.

Plus there's his long track record of having absolutely terrible control problems. Long term, he's probably more Fernando Rodney than Aroldis Chapman.

Exactly. Any playoff team can win. If this is who Betances actually is, I don't think you've lost much this year. Betances + a replacement level SP = Kuma + saves.

Busting Min's balls has become a bit of a running gag, but the truth is he's always been competitive and set his lineups. There will always be some owners who are less involved in the offseason for various reasons, that's just the way it goes. No one has ever with any seriousness suggested getting rid of Min, and if they did, I'd have his back.
