They should keep conferences for rivalries and intrigue. Drop the schedule down to 72 games so you play everyone in your conference 3x and everyone in the other conference 2x. Makes a more balanced schedule and opens up room for a Christmas tournament. Reseeding irrespective of conference at the semis is retarded IMO. Not sure why Eastern conference owners would ever agree to that either.

I might just scrap PG/SG/SF/PF next season and go with G G G F F F C Util. Positions are almost entirely meaningless now.

I see him as more of a PG than SG with his handle, but the distinction is blurrier than ever. FVV is a PG but also one of the best shooters in the NBA. Really positions are irrelevant these days, though. Ben Simmons is a centre masquerading as a PG and Kristaps is an SG in a C’s body. It’s basically gotten to the point where if you aren’t viable at 3 positions, you’re a dodo.
