  1. Hard to say with inflation but no less than $10M, and probably not as much as $15M, although he would have a compelling case if he files for that amount.
  2. There's only one team that would annoy me if they won, but I'm not gonna say who.

  4. Yes and no. He's going to make enough in arbitration this offseason to live off for the rest of his life, so it's not like he'll be strapped for cash at any point. Ryan Howard got $10M in arb after winning an MVP, so if you adjust for inflation, Donaldson will probably get $12M or so next year, plus raises in the subsequent arb years (assuming he doesn't completely fall apart). I don't see him accepting just a 5 year deal at this point.
  5. You can't just demand a massive contract, lol. He will go to arbitration and get a massive raise, as he should. I'm sure Anthopoulos will test the waters to talk about an extension, just as he probably will with Bautista and Encarnacion. If Donaldson wants Stanton/Trout money (as he by all rights should), then we'll probably just keep going to arbitration until his walk year.
  6. HUHHHH? I don't think anyone would accept that. Trading a cost-controlled superstar is never a good decision.
  7. You have a great roster and would be a worthy champion. Good luck in the playoffs!
  8. I don't think you need to apologize, it hurts you more than us.
  9. I thought I was selling high on Dee Gordon, so I'll probably hold onto Billy Hamilton til he gets DFAed.
  10. No one believe in Pollock at that point. If they did, they would have offered a lot more than Appel.
  11. Seems like all the elite young bats are on non-contenders with the obvious exception of Trout.
  12. Correa and Puig ain't a bad place to start a rebuild... it's sorta like my LOD team, but without Giolito and Buxton.
  13. That one's super annoying because I still can't quite allow myself to believe that Pollock is a fantasy star, meanwhile I've ALWAYS hated Mark Appel.
  14. That was also pretty reasonable in context, you weren't going to get anything out of Harvey for a year. Plus you got Harvey for basically nothing so eff you.
  15. Yeah, that was pretty generous of you, albeit reasonable in its context. That's your karma for free Josh Donaldson.
  16. You're the one who blasted him in the first place. I'm actually nice to boxy, unlike the rest of you twats. I give him good players like Greg Bird.
  17. And hopefully Eichel is the next coming of Malkin and that's the last pick in the 1st round!
  18. Gordinger purchases old man Marleau for a 1st. BTS to confirm.
  19. http://www.awesomelyluvvie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/DontComeForMe.gif
  20. Boxy also has the same number of playoff appearances as you.
  21. Basically. I'll ride Miggy all the way to the HOF, also. I'd rather be a borderline contender than rebuild.
  22. Yeah, if FTD's garbage team can win, anyone can.
