Ok, we gotta get the waiver draft going this week so we are finalizing the league with the 12 owners we currently have. We are going to go with 6 keepers and then Eze will pick his keepers from the entire pool, then we'll start the waiver draft so we can get rosters built before the real season starts in a couple weeks. If you currently have 5 keepers selected, please select one additional keeper by tomorrow at 8 pm or I may have to choose one for you.

Okay, everyone except FTD has confirmed for this season, and hopefully he will sometime soon. Currently we have Speedy, Eze, and (I think) BlueRocky interested in joining the league. With that being the case, everyone should plan on 5 keepers, not 6. We always knew this was a possibility and it's for the betterment of the league. I am planning on two expansion teams plus one replacing Boxy. The 11 returning teams will select their 5 keepers, then all the cuts, rookies, and Boxy's team will be dumped into the expansion pool. The 3 expansion/replacement teams will draft from all available players until they have 5 keepers each, at which point we will begin the league wide annual waiver draft. The same scenario will apply if FTD does not return, except in that case we will need to wrangle up one additional replacement owner. From next year on, we will go back to 6 keepers per team, this is a one-time thing.

Honestly I don't mind moving to FT if it means more buy-in, but I don't see an obvious benefit. Maybe I can add Charges Taken to Steals as a category with the customization, haven't looked into it at all.

Kawhi is another possibility for our max slot next season, especially if things go to s*** in Clipperland. You could do a lot worse than a core of FVV-Siakam-OG on talent-appropriate contracts with max salary cap space flexibility. Most franchises would love to have that kind of agility going forward.

Boucher was intentionally overpaid to be a mid-salary trade chip. He’s a stretch big who doesn’t shoot well and can’t guard any 4s or 5s.

Jrue Holiday - Bogdan - Middleton - Giannis - Brook Is a reallllly good lineup and a big improvement in playoff basketball. They probably have a mid-level exception they could still use on someone like Serge too. I think Giannis is gonna stay put, reading the tea leaves here.
