All of em. I don't want to keep 6 RP, but I like them all. Going to roll into the cut with 5 SP & 6 RP. I'm assuming Capps will still be on the DL for a bit.
Cobb? No, I don't see that. He needs to come back from the dead and earn his spot back. Snell will be on an innings limit and so will De Leon, who will also be suppressed for Super 2 reasons. Andriese will at the very least start the year in the rotation. And as always, Archer and Odorizzi and liable to be traded at any time.
My guess is yes, at least for a few months while they suppress De Leon's service time. That acquisition definitely made me less inclined to hold onto Andriese though. He is a fringe keeper, but looks like a mid rotation starter if given the chance.
Apparently the shoulder is still bugging him, god Farrell is such a dumb dumb. As it stands right now, one of Pomeranz, Wright or ERod isn't going to get a starter spot, and both Pom and Wright are battling injuries.
Is Wright really worth a 1st? IIRC he got dropped in BORED in September and I picked him up for free. I guess a late 1st isn't really all that valuable, so sure.
LA will probably get about 4 WAR total out of Forsythe for 6 years of De Leon. I really love this deal for Tampa. Frankly I'm surprised Friedman & co would do that.
RotoWire News: Holland (elbow) was sitting at 88-91 mph with his fastball during a showcase Monday, FanGraphs' Eric Longenhagen reports. (11/7/2016)
Not a good sign.
1) Kershaw
2) Syndergaard
3) Scherzer
4) Sale
5) Bumgarner
6) Kluber
7) Cueto
8) Price
9) Arrieta
10) Darvish
Could also make an argument for Strasburg, Archer, Carrasco, Quintana, Lester. Greinke, Porcello and Sanchez are real stretches.
I don't think the Rockies have any intention of playing Desmond at 1B, at least not for very long. They're just saying that to save face while they find a return they like for Blackmon.
I didn't want to, but I wanted Gsellman and Broxton was the only piece that really fit for BTS' roster. I don't think Gio and Kazmir are too different; the difference is mainly job security rather than talent. I have seen a huge divergence of opinions on Gsellman, much like Broxton. BP put his OFP as 70 in this year's prospect rankings (which I think is way too high), and I've seen probably half the writers in chats say he's more of a 3/4 SP, 50-60 OFP guy.
SS is very loaded right now but 2016 Assdribble is DH worth in a 20 team format. 23 HR and a 119 wRC+. I too would be looking to add him if he had even one more positional eligibility. Never thought I'd say "too bad he's SS-only."
Agreed. Kepler over Norris or possibly Lynn or Bauer.
Edit: Nvm, I hadn't noticed Norris' improved K rate this year and assumed he was still garbage. He's a keeper.
