  1. Ryan Madson is a closer and I'm cutting him. You can have him for a prospect.
  2. Nobody is really a seller at this point (so it seems).
  3. Yea but unfortunately, Ks and Ws are still categories. Tillman was usable back-end filler in 4 of the last 5 seasons. I probably wouldn't start him early in the week. You are trying to build W and K with a deep rotation and scrabble together SV/HLD afterwards, I'm just doing the opposite. I have my anchor ace and a solid #2 to go with multiple elite relievers, so I'm just cobbling together the back end of a rotation with bulk innings.
  4. Yeah that's a pretty cruddy offer for a Top 40 player. There needs to be at least one prospect who can make an impact in the near future. The draft pick is worth very little and Anderson isn't that attractive.
  5. If you strap Chris Tillman to Aroldis Chapman and Marco Estrada to Kenley Jansen, you've got two aces and a lot of saves!
  6. 7. He's a better bet for holds, but I'm not surprised, because Cyborg is strictly about ratios.
  8. I think NJH is more of a scoffer than a snickerer
  9. That sounds like a pretty good team.
  10. I know there are a few teams looking for 1B recently. I might be shopping Albert Pujols for SP, hit me up.
  11. Wow, Romo must really like winning... he already has 3 rings lol.
  12. I am so not in on Bell. Not in even one iota. If I'm going to buy on a 1B prospect, he needs to have big raw. Bobby Bradley is promising.
  13. Why bother? AJ Reed's AA numbers were vastly superior to Bellinger's, and one year later we've all left him for dead.
  14. Please do not interfere with my boxy trolling.
  15. They probably wouldn't have signed him if they felt Bird's shoulder was 100% good to go. Bird hit .215 with a .138 ISO in the AFL. Obviously that's a small sample (17 games), but it's not exactly promising. His K/BB was great, though.
  16. I own him in BORED and there's no way I'm cutting him. Who knows what they'll get out of Greg Bird this year? We have yet to see how his shoulder will hold up. Holliday will get time in LF as well and they may yet trade Gardner.
  17. Cuts aren't official til the drop dead date, you're good.
  18. I AM worried! Everything that ******* touches turns to gold. Plus Coors.
  19. Eh, this is a Gibbers trade. You'll never use that pick and you'll have a lot of difficulty consolidating it. I understand wanting to get something for an asset you're going to throw away, but IMO you would have been better served to deny Silvergun that asset than to just receive a pick you'll probably end up wasting anyway. You could have re-drafted Wall again some time in the future, or picked him up in a waiver draft at an appropriate time. That's just me though, I derive a lot of pleasure from spiting people.
  20. Apparently the Yankees could be in on Carter too. It seems like a lot of teams are sniffing around him but probably no one has guaranteed him a starting job.
  21. Reminds me of your Kershaw for Teheran and Archie Bradley deal.
