  1. Shelby Miller f***ing blows. Would not own again. Frankly I'm surprised JB didn't cut him.
  2. He's been a starter and thrown 100+ innings, he can handle a larger workload than the average max effort reliever.
  3. IIRC Gibbers had him; I remember because he was SP eligible and I wanted to trade for him.
  4. Nice pick on Hand. 111 Ks last year purely in relief, and he could get a shot at closing.
  5. He's got a new elbow now tho. All pitching is violent. I don't think he's any more risky than any other hard-throwing max effort reliever.
  6. I don't see why not. Why is his delivery in particular any more harmful to his arm than other pitchers?
  7. His K%-BB% in 2015 was better than Andrew Miller this year.
  8. Tits. Capps could very well become one the super elite closers alongside Chapman and Jansen.
  9. Just pick up a 30 HR, .800 OPS shortstop off the waiver wire like I did.
  10. You know you have a real problem when Spanky is the voice of reason.
  11. And it's official, Alex Reyes is the 1st TJS of the season.
  12. There's a pretty good chance that Lowry is leaving soon tho.
  13. Wasn't that LeBron's decision? If LeBron wants a coach gone, you do it.
  14. Firing the coach of a team 8 games over .500 that went to the Conference Finals last year? That pretty much never happens.
  15. I just assumed everybody reads this thread obsessively.
  16. Torontofan is up, right? Maybe you guys can take your catty bitch fight to PMs.
  17. I'm still kinda dismissing them. I find it hard to believe Thames will go 40-40 with a 1.000 OPS.
  18. IIRC, I traded up to get Kang and he shat all over the pick.
  19. It's true. I mean if you look around at some of the other rebuilds, the prospects didn't nearly pan out as well. It's a heap of good luck but also timing and targeting the right kind of impact prospects, and knowing when to turn the corner to try and become competitive.
  20. Brendan Rodgers is the fantasy beast of that group IMO. z3r0s could insanely afford to trade him, but on most farms I'd consider him an untouchable jewel. Actually, I need a SSOTF, we should talk. Maybe I'll roll one into my mid-summer Trumbo acquisition.
  21. and Trevor Story on the MLB team. Perfect example of why you should never draft for need, especially when rebuilding.
  22. You didn't, tho! You still have Urias, Giolito, and Senzel. Motherf***er.
