    Yep, it's nice looking at a lineup that contains no stars but has enough balance and platoon efficiency to compete nightly. It's enough to make you wonder if Vlad might actually play some meaningful MLB games later this season.

    The Nationals have promoted top prospect Juan Soto to high-A Potomac. Soto could have opened the season in the Carolina League, but the Nationals let him return to Hagerstown after he was hurt after 23 games there last year. He ended up hitting .373/.486/.814 with five homers in 59 at-bats.

    I cannot wait until the Yankees trade the decrepit corpse of Greg Bird to the Giants for Brandon Belt and then BB breaks out with a .400 wOBA and 40 knocks.

    And Vlad's K rate continues to go down, now at 7.5%. You would think AA would start adjusting to him but if anything it seems to be the opposite. For reference, Mike Trout was 18.4% at the same age in AA. It's crazy that someone with such a nasty hack can maintain such an incredibly low K rate.
