  1. And people are trying to stop these. Christ.
  2. Yeah but at least Shapiro is addressing it the best way he can. Just feels strange having so much pitching depth for once.
  3. Holy s*** We have depth
  4. Sandwich post, 3 in a row isn't so bad
  5. That's the one. And no, that doesn't look very impressive. My point was that Ortiz could easily have smashed that ball 500 feet (but probably guessed fastball) and no one would have made a GIF. The drop was not very impressive and there was very little horizontal movement PLUS that ball is right in Ortiz's wheelhouse.
  6. They are only memories if you can remember them, meat
  7. No, but that one is a bit better.
  8. It's easy to notice a grooved fastball when it gets crushed. Lots of pitchers groove pitches and get away with it, seemed like Drew never did, though. I remember when twistedlogic posted a GIF of Aaron Sanchez hanging a curve ball to Ortiz that he didn't swing at, and some people acted like the pitch was thrown by God himself. We need to try to remove bias from our viewing experience. I think Hutch has a great arm and is fully capable of being an average or perhaps above average starter.
  9. Looks kinda like sloth from the goonies.
  10. I can share that feeling with you, at least. I didn't hear a peep from any of these ass shits about how hunky Stro was until now.
  11. NL West Giants: Posey Padres: gross...uhh...Shields? I guess Rockies: I guess you'd have to take Arenado but I'd entertain Blackmon or Gonzalez Diamondbacks: Goldschmidt Dodgers: Kershaw
  12. I'd go Blue Jays: Donaldson Yankees: Tanaka, maybe Gardner Sox: Betts Rays: Archer or Kiermaier, depending on what you take from Yankees (probably prefer Tanaka/Kiermaier) Orioles: Machado
  13. What a beautiful man
  14. Lol wut Kris Bryant plays for the Cubs Cards - Matt Carpenter Cubs - Kris Bryant Pirates - Gerrit Cole Reds - Jesse Winker Brewers - Jonathan Lucroy
  15. Teach us the ways, oh great one.
  16. Heyward McCutchen Votto Wainwright...I guess. If Lynn wasn't injured, I'd take him here instead. Braun or Lucroy I actually think I'd take 5 Cubs.
  17. Ben Revere is superior in both respects but he doesn't get the same love.
  18. Fair enough
  19. This line of thinking doesn't really make sense. Japan is full of hacky slap hitters, and Gallardo is projected as a below average arm. From your description of him I'd honestly rather have JA Happ. There's hype around Maeda because he's an unknown quantity. There's been nothing to indicate otherwise, and I'll pass on a guy from Japan who will probably strike out fewer than 6 per nine.
  20. I could just post gifs of King Kong Bundy and be more productive than you.
  21. That's not true at all. Guys can't just "decide" to walk.
  22. Lol like I'd ever join the ZiPS gang. Steamer4lyfe
  23. I really don't get the Donaldson thing.
