    I don't see any reason why Ref can't be a league average regular. Everything he's done has shown that this is a very plausible outcome for him. Also, reading a baseball scouting report on a guy who plays baseball on a baseball team that calls him a "baseball player" makes me want to punch things. BP's opinions on Ref mean absolutely nothing.

    Thank god for BP So basically, the Yankees played a guy who Ref pretty much matched in value after 16 appearances (Drew) and now they have traded for a guy who might be worse. But ya, the Yankees know what they're doing. No question about it.
