  2. Lol no one is going to give you s***. A mod will just merge it at some point.
  3. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1e8b_fFSnjpe7wBWBxg5Fz0YlGboL2jtdKybw6frBbiY/edit#gid=0 Mine So I've just realized that Aledmys Diaz only has SS next season which means I need to deal either him or Correa. Prefer to deal Correa but I'm open to anything. I have 3 guys who could close next year in Watson, Ottavino and Holland. I need to deal Moustakas as well. Needs: CF, OF, 2B (not as dire now that the Jays have signed Steve), SP.
  4. Didn't you save it to imgur, download it, and then upload it to imgur again? That's kind of important.
  5. Maybe, maybe not. Point is, he put himself in unnecessary danger and got stung for it.
  6. I am tired of your homophobic gay jokes
  7. Looks like someone doesn't know how age based decline works.
  8. This deserves a spot here, for the sake of preservation
  9. LOL that is f***ing perfect
  10. Yes, I've been so blind. Sale's Steamer for 2017 should just say "did not play - dead"
  11. s***, I don't even think this is a bad deal for the White Sox. The real problem is that Dumnbroski had too much prospect capital to spend in the first place.
  12. Only two seasons worth of data, doubt you'd be able to discern any potential correlation.
  13. Ah homerism. Sure they may not be better than the Sox now, but I think Price will drive off a cliff and Sale will get into a life-changing bar fight so therefore the Blue Jays are better!!!
  14. It's very much not like that at all. Donaldson is worth a lot more than Sale on a performance basis.
  15. John Heyman probably has an iq in the 60s. Just keep that in mind whenever you read him.
  16. Door's already closed as far as I'm concerned. I give a 2% chance that the Jays extend JD, even without Fowler + EE.
  17. Anthony Alford is so black. Goddamn.
  18. You're right. My narrative is based partially in fantasy, that's why I never win best poster.
  19. No, it would make no sense. Pearce is a better hitter than Bruce and a better defender. Though... RF Fowler 3B Donaldson DH Morales 1B Encarnacion LF Pearce SS Tulowitzki 2B Travis C Martin CF Pillar ^ If they can swing Edwin AND Fowler, this would be an amazing lineup. Probably wishful thinking, though.
  20. Any kind of stat sheet on MLB.com f***ing blows, but you can't get statcast data anywhere else afaik. Sorting is as simplistic as it gets.
  21. I won't shy away from the fact that I'm the high guy on Pearce, but he's got a serious Edwin/Bautista vibe to him. What if the Jays were better in 2009 and Bautista never got every day at bats? This is how I think of Pearce. Both came from the Pirates, both had s***** approaches at the plate. BTS mentioned Justin Turner as well, same thing. Some guys need to attack the ball out in front. Pearce is a pull hitter and he never should have shied away from that. I'm also taking his 2015 with a grain of salt, he got unlucky with batted balls and then it seemed as though he was pressing.
  22. It's very much in line with what he accomplished as recently as last season.
  23. - Recker was actually 125 wRC+ last season and given his avg launch angle + velo, you'd think he got slightly unlucky with homers. Plus, he plays in a pitcher's park. Also only 33 games. Could be a late bloomer? - Zimmerman's launch angle is too low but even then, seems like bad luck. - Weeks strikes out a lot and can't hit righties - Williamson also strikes out a lot, plus SSS. Lower launch angle - Hosmer's launch angle is far too low plus he had the same stadium issue as Morales. He's another guy I'd definitely target if KC put him otb. There's a very good hitter in here somewhere. - Rutledge used to be a huge sleeper when he was with the Rockies. His launch angle is ridiculously low and he strikes out way too much. Even with those two large flaws, he still put up a 96 wRC+. Guy might be decent if he put the ball in the air from time to time. Also SSS. - Bumgarner does hit the ball hard. He also strikes out a s*** ton and never walks. On this list, only Zimmerman, Bumgarner and Rutledge finished the year as below average bats, and the reason why is directly related to secondary factors, except Zimm who was probably a bit unlucky. I can't seem to split statcast data, but another note about Morales is that his hard hit % jumped 7% in the second half. And, finally, which is actually interesting, it appears that Morales is an actual true switch hitter. Since his breakout 2009, he's 121 wRC+ vs. righties and 111 wRC+ vs. lefties.
  24. #1 rule about Greenwood: he loves being a contrarian. #2: He loves subtle trolling. He's the best troll on this board, but he's so subtle that no one notices.
