  1. Don't see why it wouldn't just remain in play like it does when it his the OF wall.
  2. How much is that really going to help, though? A padded cap isn't going to stop serious injury. I dunno what the solution is, but it would be nice if they could use some type of screen.
  3. ok tca, check your email. Draft room is open now. Make sure you add silverdumn as a co-manager.
  4. Wait, can co-owners make picks? The only way for me to do this is to transfer your team to TCA.
  5. ftfy Do try to get in the room if you can, though. Do your parents not have wifi?
  6. I'm sure your rivals would prefer that you keep Nolasco, so they are trying to help
  7. Not gonna talk about his latest appearance, are we now? Oh boy.
  8. Wait, you thought this whole Kalfus thing was serious? Holy crap, I know it's just a board joke but you may actually be objectively the most unintelligent poster on the forum.
  9. Nope, MLB blacks it out in Canada. You'll need a VPN service. Probably a good idea to use one anyway and they aren't expensive.
  10. Reed is likely a lot better than Tellez. He's also ready now.
  11. I wonder how viable it would be to stick Pearce primarily in LF and trade for AJ Reed. The Astros appear to have no confidence in him because he's the first prospect to ever struggle in his MLB debut and with Gurriel at first and Beltran at DH, doesn't seem like there's any room for him. I hate the Astros. They are so dumb.
  12. But why go for a drunken rapist when you can have Mike Moustakas for the same price?! PM me bros
  13. Another thing that bothers me is that scouts seem absolutely incapable of providing a balanced perspective. They will love a SS who is likely going to contribute with a well below average bat and well above average defense, but seem unable to comprehend the fact that a guy like Aledmys Diaz last year, who was below average on defense and well above average at the dish can be more valuable at the SS position. Basically, it feels like even if the guy might be an average SS it isn't good enough for those old farts, even if the guy can hit.
  14. But it's a total myth that bigger guys can't be good defensive shortstops.
  15. I personally hate it when scouty types say stuff like "as he fills out, he'll probably have to move off SS." Can anyone think of a single blue chip SS prospect who had to move off SS due to his size? I can't. Seems like it never happens, so I have no idea why these morons keep saying it. Andrelton Simmons had a few of the best defensive seasons ever @ SS and he's 6'2". Brandon Crawford, arguably the best defensive SS in the NL, is also 6'2". Machado, who would likely compete for a GG @ SS, is 6'2". So stupid. I hate scouts.
  16. I mean, JD isn't exactly correct either since his approach wouldn't work for a guy like DJ LeMahieu but to say it's a completely bogus philosophy? GTFO. I hate the Twins. They are going to ruin Suxton and Sano.
  17. omg I bet when he sucks, he'll wonder why, too.
  18. I probably would. Kershaw is quite a bit better than Sale.
  19. It's fake news. There's no reason why it wouldn't be in Yahoo. FeatherD is da woist
  20. He may not be wrong that they don't care about him as a person, but where he is wrong is that they shouldn't.
  21. I find it so amusing that he hates Boston and loved being here.
  22. I'd be more ok with him if he was humble but he's basically a rich man's Bret Sayre.
