  1. He has failed at every aspect of the game this season. I don't know how you justify keeping him up when the team gets healthy if his play continues to be this poor.
  2. If the Jays can get 2 innings out of Malone I think they have to be real happy. 3 innings would be utter ecstasy.
  3. Tommy Matrix Malone is just racking up the ks now.
  4. Man Bichette has a real problem transferring balls from his glove. I wonder how much of that is due to rushing because he doesn't have the strongest arm at short.
  5. Tommy Matrix Malone getting the Royals to k with those sweet off speed pitches.
  6. The injuries are just dumb at this point. I can't recall anything quite like this.
  7. He kind of looks like Foltyniewivcz now.
  8. Tanner Roark is the ultimate three outcome SP (2b, 3b and HR).
  9. Enjoy being down 3 boys because it won't last long if Tanner Roark has anything to say about it.
  10. I'm not sure Jansen could hit a beach ball with a tennis racket.
  11. DJ may never get a hit again.
  12. I can't remember another SS that bobbled as many routine grounders as Bo has this season. May be time to just bite the bullet and shift him to 3B.
  13. I'm genuinely impressed by Roark's inability to command such a mediocre arsenal.
  14. Can we get the big weasel off the 40 man already.

Auston Matthews is somehow still one of the best scorers on planet earth with one wrist, just unreal.

Any player not named Connor McDavid would have a difficult time creating in the Buffalo system right now. I don't know if it is bad coaching or oversimplification in an attempt to right the ship, but their spacing on offense and strong side breakout are the worst in the NHL right now. They don't create width by moving the puck east west or release valves by bumping up ice vertically. Compound that with some tough shooting luck and this is what you get.
  17. Not saying that you are wrong, but Tiger in his 40's is probably in better shape than Ben Hogan was in his twenties.
  18. I'm open to moving Brad Marchand and Evgeni Malkin for high upside young talent. PM me if interested.
  19. Just speculation but this looks like a guy that is on drugs, likely for pain relief. It's a real shame what his knee and back issues have done, not only to his career but his life off of the course.
  20. Thanks, I just shot a counter. I don't think we are that far apart.
  21. Guys can a commissioner help me with a trade that was just accepted. I clicked "counter" on my app and next thing I know it is showing as accepted, I obviously did not want to accept that trade.

Jack Han has a pretty interesting article up on his newsletter about the critical weakness in Galchenyuk's game, his poor dynamic skating posture. What is really interesting is that Jack worked with the Leafs and thus has some insight into how the Leafs will attempt to rebuild his posture and certain muscle cues. Unfortunately his past knee injuries, age and genetics (ankle flexion, t-spine flexibility etc.) may place a ceiling on how much he can actually improve, but still a worthwhile read and an interesting topic that most casual fans are unaware of. https://jhanhky.substack.com/p/searching-for-alex-galchenyuk

Still an extremely small sample for Driedger, but it is getting pretty close to the point where we can reliably say that Bobrovsky looks cooked. I wonder if the drop off is due to age/diminishing ability or some form of decline in his work ethic and priorities after signing a big contract and moving to Florida.

Mario in his prime was just different. He was bigger, stronger and more talented than everyone and he showed it every shift. That is not to say that he is better or worse than Wayne, but he sure looked more dominant than anyone I can ever recall watching. The closest thing to it was probably prime Lindros.
