    I saw the bat flip by Andrus on a single and it was driving me insane that no one called him out on it. Glad someone has now. I believe the baseball gods gave a heavy dose of Karma to the Rangers. Maybe we have a new curse! The curse of the right hook? Bat flip curse? Whiney bitch curse?

    I'm in BC and could career less about the Mariners. 100% Jays fan born and raised. My oldest child is as well, along with every player on his baseball teams, no one wants to be called the Mariners when it is time to choose a team name. non Jays fans around here are Yankees and Red Sox fan and they are the worst! I doubt they could name 9 players in the team, and half would start with Jeter then Arod.

    I'd say yes to wild card no doubt about it. Also, I'm kind of excited for a wild card game....as baseball fans it is something we should experience at least once.

    I'd go Stroman, but Sanchez and Happ are good picks to, and if Estrada picks it up he'd be worthy as well....this all tells me our pitching is better then Boston and this will be a non issue, and thank god for that cause I could not handle watching a wild card game with the Jays in it!!!

    What happened to the smart kid (not being sarcastic) who said Kratz is worth 85 mil? (Not so smart). Never see him post anymore, did he wise up and go work for a team???

    Someone needs to be our back up catcher when we trade Dickey and Thole away on Monday and replace them with Chris Sale. I guess the only real question now is, who is after Dickey? And what's it going to take to get Sale?

    BJ- .256 16 HRs 45 RBIs JB- .231 12 HRs 41 RBIs I guess this means Upton is better then Jose? Kidding aside, Uptons WAR is 1.5 to .9. If you take away two years of Uptons career he is a decent player, I like this trade.

    So I assume the lack of Bautista news means he's out for the season, it's the only conclusion I can jump to. Maybe he will make it back in time for the Jays vs Rangers ALCS.

    Sorry, haven't read this thread and I'm sure this was discussed....the game was lost when I believe in the 3rd inning, Noodle bat Thole is walked to lead off inning, Bautista singles for 1st and 2nd with none out, and the league MVP decides to bunt?!? Followed by EE swinging at garbage in a horrendous at bat. This team just isn't good. I'm getting close to accepting the best course of action is a fire sale at the deadline. Saving 2 years of re build is looking good to me right now.
