    A 1 year deal makes so much sense for Jose to take. No more qualifying offer for him next year and he can try to rebound. Throw him in left since he can't throw anymore.

    Gonna miss EE, a truly elite hitter who helped us finally reach the playoffs, he better be cheered very loudly in his first at bat in the dome.

    Im not sure what the hurry to trade a pitcher away is, a rotation with Biagini and no depth behind that is trouble. Fowler at 4/64 I'm definitely down with signing.

    I think JD and Tulo could teach him about being a professional and things like studying video. I bet with his talent he has a monster year or two before his next pay day as well, it's amazing how the prospect of $20 mil a year could motivate an immature talent like Puig. I'm for acquiring him even though it's a big gamble. He'd be a great Bautista replacement in right field. Then sign Bautista or EE for first base and we're golden.

    My guess is the big money free agents, and the trades involving big money players are on hold until the new CBA is in place. And I have to believe the Jays will be in on some big contracts after the last two years and the crowd support they gained.

    I'm happy with him as a bench player who fills in often to give guys a day off here and there all over the diamond.

    Were due for some bad injury luck for the starters, I'd go: Hill Sanchez Stroman Happ Estrada Liriano Biagini Rogers can afford it and needs to step up this winter.

    Ps I'll miss Jose despite his douchbaggery! Guy is a legend here and I'll have a hard time cheering against him even in a Red Sox uniform. One of the best players in franchise history, guy deserves a bat flip statue outside the dome.

    If we replace Jose and EE with redick and morales does anyone hear think we're a playoff team? I'm not so sure we are. Add Votto to that mix and I'm on board.

    I understand the excitement for Pearce, having said that the guy has played over 100 games once in his career. If we are replacing EE, Bautista, and Saunders with Pearce, Smoak and a chubby DH it might be a long year. After all the casuals that are jumping on board the train it's the wrong time to have an average year in my opinion...still early in the off season I know. We need a bigger move then these nice depth pieces.

    I have always wanted to see the Cubs win a World Series, but now that it's close I'm kinda rooting for something crazy to happen that makes people say, Christ they really are cursed... I want the myth to live on! I feel the Cubs will steam roll Cleveland, but I also thought that the Jays would win easily. I say Cubs in 6, but hoping lightening strikes just as Baez is about to make the final out in game 7 causing him to make an error and Cleveland to win in a walk off.

    Holy f***, people seriously bitching about Russell Martin, the guy who lead one of the top starting staffs in baseball?? For f***ing real? Any of you understand what a catcher does? This series was an embarrassment, we should have trashed on Cleveland, but we wouldn't be here without Martin, so f*** off! Bautista needs to shut his mouth, you don't talk s*** when you are losing 3 games to 1.

    It's gonna feel like those stitches are trying to tear open with every pitch, if a blister can cause problems I imagine stitches would be a bitch to pitch with.

    I feel like whatever happens the series will be 2-2 after the next 2 games. Who knows after that though.
