  1. Ok ok, we sweeten the pot and throw back up shortstop Ryan Goins into the deal!
  2. Or we could also convince Kinsler to come to Canada and figure out a trade for him.
  3. This off season is killing me, so much so that I'm going to make up trade ideas which is lunacy in my opinion, but it has come to this. Who does Travis for Puig? Dodgers need a 2nd basemen, could use the money savings and we need an outfielder. We can then sign Utley who provided 2 War last year, or in a better scenario find a way to get Dozier (which would be a major long shot).
  4. Is it true Shatkins won't even offer a one year contract? This might be a long season......
  5. Not a bad Steamer projection on house.
  6. At this point let see what Pompey has in him, platoon Zeke/Upton, and July 1st we can start talking about what JD will bring at the trade deadline and whether or not Rogers learned a lesson not to f*** around after setting attendance and tv records.
  7. Still a plan I'm good with.
  8. Sounds like a decent plan to me. Honest question as I have no idea, is Pearce an above average outfielder, or can he simply play there and be passable?
  9. I'm fine with Jose and his s***** defence and now garbage arm in left if we can find a good right fielder. Any ideas on any right fielders that might be available, and not Jay Bruce, I mean someone who can play defence.
  10. I Love this plan, one problem....how do you keep Jose off the field after signing Morales?
  11. Rogers should be willing to take payroll just below the luxury tax. The last couple years had to have shown them that winning makes them money. They gained hundreds of thousand new fans and more importantly viewers. If this off season continues to be a failure those new casual fans will disappear as fast as they appeared. To me it's mind boggling they don't take payroll to the max without paying any luxury tax. If I recall correctly, even earnings and the share price grew with the playoff runs.
  12. I'm happy about this, 17 mil is crazy for a closer.
  13. Honestly, there should be a thread for new users (and retards) to simply practice posting stuff like tweets and gifs in.
  14. Boom goes the dynamite!!!
  15. [tweet] 806336239586656256 [/ tweet] Attempt 2
  16. And fail, hahaha
  17. Thanks man....now can you help this old man with what a tweet # is? Unless this works...... [tweet] [/ tweet]
  18. Jim Callis tweet (yeah I don't know how to post tweets:( The @RedSox gave up four of their six best prospects. Moncada arguably best prospect in game, Kopech not far off from best mound prospect.
  19. I think he'd get torn to pieces for this trade. AA on steroids is exactly right!
  20. It feels like Moncada is being under valued here, perhaps his struggles in his quick call up took some prospect shine off?? I'm glad we got Shatkins and not dombrowski, this trade is a huge gamble on pitcher health, could easily back fire massively for the Sox....or they run away with East and we fight for wild card, which is how I felt it was before this trade. Sucks we play them 18 times though while others only face them 6-9.
  21. I thought they we paying him about 6 mil per season, not 11....
  22. Has Steve Pearce played a career high of 102 games due to injury, or teams never giving him a chance to play a full season?
  23. I'd be happy with Revere/Upton platoon in left, if it means Fowler in right (does he have an arm?), and joey bats or EE at first. and of course, if joey bats or EE are a no go, we could always look into trading for Joey Votto instead.
